Newsletter and Ride Schedule - Online Only Starting Jan 1 2009

Starting January 1, 2009, the club will no longer offer a printed / mailed newsletter or ride schedule. These documents will still be available in full color and all their glory on the website where members can download and print them at any time.

This allows the club to keep costs down and at the same time allows the newsletter to blossom with more exciting content for your reading pleasure each and every month.

As always, members will receive an email notifying them when a new newsletter or ride schedule has been uploaded. They can then login to the website to view the new version and print it if they desire.

Memorial Day Tour

Come and enjoy Clermont's mountains with us over Memorial Day weekend, Friday May 23rd to Monday the 26th. Tour includes 3 days of biking, and I promise to have shorter options, they won't be all long and hard. And I plan on continuing Pete's tradition of a Saturday BBQ at the park nearby. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Clermont, 1810 South Hwy 27. Mention SBW and get special rates, $95 for a king bed and $100 for double queens, and with a 24 hour cancellation policy you can't go wrong. At this point, April 15th, there are 20 kings and only 7 doubles available, so don't delay.

Lake Placid Tour April 4 - April 6

Forget your worries and join us in Lake Placid April 4th-6th for a great getaway of biking and fun.

A longer "out in the middle of nowhere" ride on Saturday amongst the Caladium fields (with a shorter option) and a fun "hilly" ride around the scenic lakes on Sunday. Cue sheets will be supplied.

Make your reservations now, as supplies are limited. Holiday Inn Express 601 S. Lakeview Rd (US 27) 1-863-465-9916 Ask for the SBW $99 rate. They will even serve us free breakfast.
