This ride has a different format than our usual weekend rides.

One large group starts together with a slow warm up and separates along the way in different speed groups.  It helps to ask around at the start to find out who is riding at your speed so you may stay together when the groups split up.  Most often at the start volunteer leaders will step up to lead a group after the split.  Find out if there is someone leading your speed group, and stay close to him/her.

The route is an out and back as shown below, with some groups turning around sooner for a shorter ride.  Be a safe and curteous rider.
